Detailed itinerary

Day 1–2

Casablanca & Rabat

Begin in Casablanca at the Hassan II Mosque, then continue to Rabat for the Kasbah of the Udayas and Hassan Tower.

Day 3–4

Fes & Meknes/Volubilis

Explore the Fes medina with a local guide, then day-trip to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and imperial Meknes.

Day 5

Chefchaouen

Drive to the Blue City for a day among the indigo lanes of the medina and the Spanish Mosque viewpoint.

Day 6–7

Fes → Merzouga Sahara

Cross the Middle Atlas to Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset and sleep in a desert camp.

Day 8

Dades Valley & Aït Ben Haddou

Drive through the Todra Gorge and Dades Valley, then visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou.

Day 9

Marrakech

Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech. Explore the souks, palaces and Jemaa el-Fna square.

Day 10

Essaouira or departure

Optional day trip to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast, or transfer to your departure airport.
